Also called Espe’s Rasbora or False Harlequin Rasbora, the Narrow-Wedge Harlequin originates from Southeastern Asia – mainly in Cambodia and Thailand. These fish typically have a copper or reddish coloration with a black, porkchop-shaped marking on their sides. Due to their similarities in appearance, these fish are often confused with Harlequin and Glowlight Rasboras. The main difference between these species is the body coloration.
