The Long-Band Rasbora can be found throughout Asia in the Malaysian Peninsula, on the Greater Sunda Islands of Borneo and Sumatra, and in southern Thailand. Also called the Brilliant Rasbora, the Long-Band Rasbora has a pinkish silver body with a bold lateral stripe extending through the eye to the tail. Depending on their locality, some specimens of this species may exhibit a broken stripe.
