Hi-Spot Rasbora

Hi-Spot Rasbora

More commonly known as the Eyespot Rasbora, the Hi-Spot Rasbora is a native of Malaysia and Sumatra. These fish are relatively plain, having a reflective silver body that may take on a yellowish hue under certain light. Some specimens exhbit a fine, olive-colored lateral band or a pinkish flush around the pelvic fins. The large black oval overlaid on a white base on the caudal fin is what gives this species its name.
