Emerald Dwarf Danio

Emerald Dwarf Danio

Though it was once categorized in the Microrasbora genus, this species is now recognized as a danio. The Emerald Dwarf Danio, still referred to as the Emerald Dwarf Rasbora by some, is pinkish orange in color and exhibits as many as fifteen vertical emerald green bars along its sides. Males of the species may have a reddish orange coloration to their fins and both sexes have a black spot at the base of the caudal fin.
